By the sheer size of the task, it will have to be a collaboration between the user and the site. Names-in-the-News is our focus and name submissions will be an invaluable part if NameSpellChecker is to be of service.

Name submissions will require a confirmable source. Approval of all name additions is reserved to NameSpellChecker. We also invite visitor suggestions to improve usability and ease of use, along with suggested features you would like us to consider.

With the number of languages in our world, there are inevitable variations so our focus, for now, will be on English speaking countries while we build to accommodate other cultures, countries, languages and spellings.

Spelling differences will be addressed by including alternate spellings up to a maximum of three. Please check the rules for name submission and follow the entry form directions. Our search feature provides several ways to find a name and consulting the options for searching should help.

Our comprehensive categories web page is still under construction where we will include names of historical significance including past names in the news, and names of renown.
